The SC21 silver level is aimed on quality performance, delivery on time performance and continuous improvement.
Through working on the SC21 programme, Cinch Connectors has seen significant improvements in its workplace organisation, operations and advances in lean manufacturing
With a growing number of organisations committing to SC21, the aerospace and defence industry will gain from a raised performance of its supply chains and a greater awareness by businesses into how the industry will progress and adapt for future demands. Benefits that Cinch Connectors will quickly gain from achieving the silver award include:
Craig Pickles, Cinch Connectors UK’s CI & Ops Manager said, “It’s fantastic that we have achieved silver SC21 accreditation in less than 12 months after receiving the SC21 bronze award. With a strong team behind us and great support from our sponsors MBDA and AEC/Rolls Royce, we’re sure that all our customers will benefit from the improvements implemented as part of this process”.
Previously, Cinch Connectors was awarded the bronze SC21 award in September 2013 at the defence exhibition, DSEI. At present, there are only 25 companies in the UK with the silver award, which demonstrates Cinch’s dedication to ensuring quality, competitive supply chains and delivering increased value to its customers.
Cinch Connectors will officially receive their award at the 2014 Farnborough Air Show on July 17th.
