CINCH CONNECTORS AND NEWARK ENTER INTO FIRST STOCKING AGREEMENT FOR NX™ HIGH SPEED CABLING

LOMBARD, ILLINOIS - March 16, 2009 - Cinch Connectors, a multi-national manufacturer of a broad range of interconnect products, and Newark today entered into a stocking and support agreement for the Cinch NX™ High Speed Cabling product line (www.newark.com/cinch). Cinch’s leadership in high performance cabling, combined with Newark’s stocking (NX products are available for same-day shipping) and extensive catalog distribution reach will provide a superior value proposition to the marketplace.

The Cinch NX™ high speed cabling product line supports InfiniBand DDR and QDR data rates, Ethernet 10GBase-CX4, SAS and other high speed I/O applications requiring demanding electrical performance.

Recognizing the need to minimize discontinuities in the cable termination that can cause signal degradation, NX Cables incorporate a laser welded, direct attach termination of the cable wires to the cable connector contacts. Coupled with a unique ground shield between pairs and a unique cable design, NX Cables provide the lowest loss interconnect available today with less than 2% crosstalk.

Cinch has an extensive list of cables for 24AWG to 30AWG that have been tested and approved by the InfiniBand Trade Association. The approved cables are listed on the Integrators and Reference Cable list (www.infinibandta.org).
