Introduction
Cinch provides high speed cables for InfiniBand SDR, DDR and QDR, Ethernet 10GbaseCX4 and SAS and other high speed I/O applications requiring demanding performance with industry standard SFF8470 interface. Recognizing the need to minimize discontinuities in the cable termination area, NX Cables incorporate laser welded, direct attach termination of the twin-ax wires to the cable connector contacts, eliminating the discontinuities associated with the commonly used paddle card. Coupled with a unique ground shield between the waferized pairs, NX Cables provides the lowest loss interconnect available today in the SFF8470 form factor with less than 2% cross talk. Cinch’s advanced manufacturing technique and wafer construction provides superior signal fidelity over long distances. NX Cables are available in wire gauges including 24, 26, 28 and 30 AWG in various lengths with the industry’s widest available variations in backshell options.
