About QSFP+ High Performance Cables
The Cinch QSFP+ copper cable assemblies have been designed to exceed published industry standard performance requirements for InfiniBand DDR (5Gb/s), QDR (10Gb/s), 40Gb Ethernet (XLAUI) and SFF8436.

- Cinch QSFP+ cables are complete with DC blocking capacitors and a programmed EEPROM cable management interface to support proper tap settings on the transmitter and receiver circuits.
- The cables also include an I2C module select buffer to prevent overloading of the clock driver in multi-cable switching installations.
- (A)The Cinch PairShieldTM paddlecard termination includes the PairShieldTM ground clip and extended paddlecard which provide the industry’s lowest multi-aggressor crosstalk.
(B)This is accomplished by terminating the TwinAx shield under the pressfit PairShieldTM ground clip to isolate adjacent pairs on the same side of the paddlecard.
The extended paddlecard isolates crosscard pairs. Together, these design improvements minimize crosstalk and provide an optimized launch to assure error free interconnects.
QSFP Availability
Passive cables are available in wire gauges including 24, 26, 28 and 30 AWG in various lengths from 0.50m 30AWG to 10m 24AWG for InfiniBand DDR and 8m 24AWG for InfiniBand QDR and 40G Ethernet.
