DEFENSE SUPPLY CENTER AWARDS CINCH REYNOSA
- posted: 2002-05-13 -

Cinch Connectors today announced that its Reynosa, Mexico facility has been awarded certification to Mil-STD-790 product assurance program by DSCC (Defense Supply Center Columbus). The Mil-STD-790 product assurance program also extends to Mil-DTL-24308 connectors assembled by Cinch in Reynosa, Mexico.

In addition to Mil/Aero connectors, the Reynosa facility also manufactures Telecom, Transportation and Computer connectors.

Cinch recently transferred the Mil-C-26500 circular environmental connector production to its Reynosa facility. In order to meet connector specifications, the manufacturing location change required DSCC approval. Subsequent to performing a qualification test on products assembled at this location, a two-day, on-site audit was conducted by DSCC.

The Mil-C-26500 product produced in Reynosa meets all requirements of the qualification test, as well as the Reynosa quality system, which is registered to AS 9100.
