Waseca, MN Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in delivering reliable connectivity solutions, announces the availability of new Johnson™ precision torque wrenches.

Johnson torque wrenches for 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm, 3.5mm and SMA stainless steel and brass connectors are used to properly install and remove RF connectors and components from RF devices and test equipment. Cinch is offering Johnson torque wrenches at torque ratings of 8 inch-pounds for stainless steel and 5 inch-pounds for brass connectors, with both rated to IEEE P287-2007. At millimeter wave frequencies, proper precision tightening of components is critical to achieve the desired performance specs. Johnson torque wrenches also promote proper usage to avoid over or under tightening, which can damage connectors and associated equipment, and helps to lengthen the life of the connector.
