Glen Rock, PA., Stewart Connector, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and world-class manufacturer of high-speed connectors used in Data Communication applications announces the release of USB 2.0 and 3.0 cable assemblies, designed to complement Stewart Connector’s 2.0 and 3.0 USB PCB mount product line and comply with the Universal Serial Bus Standards.
Stewart’s USB cable assemblies are designed to support data speeds up to 480Mbps for USB 2.0 and 5Gbps for USB 3.0. These USB cable assemblies include a shielded cable design that allows for high-speed transfer of data. The assemblies include an over molded strain relief feature, providing protection to the cable and reducing strain on the conductors. Stewart’s USB 2.0 and 3.0 cable assemblies have a USB Type-A male plug on one end and multiple USB configurations on the other end. This design is ideal for a wide range of applications, such as IOT applications, POS equipment, printers and scanners, consumer applications, game ports, laptops and desktop computers.
