Hecham Elkhatib

Hecham leads new product development at Cinch's Lombard location. With 35 years of experience in product design, he has spent the past 25 years guiding multidisciplinary teams in developing solutions tailored to customers' unique technical needs and seeing those projects through to completion. He is also committed to developing talent, mentoring engineers, and strengthening capabilities in new product development and project management.

Hecham's background spans the full lifecycle of connector engineering—from design and analysis to manufacturing, testing, and processing—across a wide range of sectors. His work includes high-speed computing, hermetic and tactical systems, all six levels of PC interconnects, expanded-beam fiber optics, down-hole high-temperature applications, hypersonic harsh-environment interconnects, aircraft rectangular connectors, pilot-helmet communication systems, and nano-scale devices. He holds a BSME and an MBA with a concentration in project management and is named on 14 granted patents in connector design. Outside of work, he enjoys Caribbean beaches, gardening, and harvesting what he grows with his own hands.
